I have known Ms. Mikiko Terahira since 2012, she was my realtor for buying my current house, Wikao St Mililani 96789.
She had put her time and effort to make sure I was getting all the information that were relevant prior to closing days. Her extensive knowledge in real estate and been in this industry long enough to point me to right direction.
Since 2012, we had no issue from the sale transaction while we resided in Oahu for military. Yet, time to time, she stopped by and checked on our house to make sure no issues in my house. And always she sent us a season greeting in every year.
July, 2018, despite of our love in Oahu Hawaii, we must let go our house due to geographically far from where I am in Florida to maintain the house.
Without hesitation, I decided to call Ms. Mikiko to be my agent again but this time is for seller agent.
She pre-worked up the house and recommend the remodeling for making our house as most attractive in the eyes of potential buyers. I am glad now that I listened to her and proceed the 12K remodeling our house. Because of the remodeling, it took only about 2 weeks to get a serious offer, additionally it was $ 17,000 higher than what we asked.
She did so much extra beyond her normal realtor job. For example, I had an encroachment issue from the next neighbor for their 3 palm trees that push out fence toward my yard since 2014. Ms Mikiko visited the neighbor. With her charming charisma, she was able to convince the neighbor to cut their trees to resolve the encroachment issue prior to closing date.
Anyone who bought and sold a single home, they know that whole process with buying and selling house is indeed tricky and can get complicated with other side agents, from Purchasing Contract, home inspection, additional amendments, and final walk through. Ms. Mikiko was always on top of these tasks and informed me for the worst case that what could be happened as well as what to prepare, therefore there was no surprise from our end.
I was pleased to write this for her work performance and it was great pleasure to know her as my agent and as my friend who has always put her client first in the midst of tricky real estate world. Without her, I cannot imagine the process of selling house is going to be smooth as this.
